Leader of the Research Group on Technologies, Media and Innovative Learning Environments linked to the Research Line “Educational Processes, Culture, Technologies” of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP. Has experience in the field of innovative learning environments, with an emphasis on active approaches, social media and education.

Has experience in Philosophy, Theology, History, Education, with an emphasis on Theory of Knowledge, History of Education, Philosophy of Science, Philosophy and Fundamental Moral Theology.

Antonio Flavio Barbosa Moreira

PhD in Education from the University of London (1988), with Senior Post-Doctoral Internship at the Institute of Education of the University of London from January to March 2011, February to March 2012 and February 2013. Master’s Degree in Education from UFRJ (1978). Graduated in Pedagogy from the University Society Augusto Motta (1974). Teaching Degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1971). Professor of the Graduate Programme at UCP since 2003. Coordinator of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP (2003-2018). Leader of the Research Group “The Internationalization of the Curriculum Field: effects in Brazil”, linked to the Research Line “Educational institutions, public policies, educational practices” of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP. Has experience in the field of Education, with an emphasis on studies on Curriculum and Didactics.

Teaching Degree in Pedagogy from the Catholic University of Petrópolis (1992). Permanent Professor of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP. Coordinator and Professor of the Pedagogy course at UCP (2019/2022). Leader of the GEPCEP Research Group, “Study and Research Group on Curriculum in Public Schools”, linked to the Research Line “Educational institutions, public policies, educational practices” of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP. Debora Breder Barreto

Master’s Degree in Anthropology from Universidade Federal Fluminense (2003). Graduated in Social Communication, qualification in Cinema, by Universidade Federal Fluminense (2000). Graduated in Cinema at the Escuela Internacional de Cine, Televisión y Video de San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba (1992). Has worked on short and medium-length films in various roles. Visiting Professor at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 2013, where she held a Postdoctoral degree, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Catholic University of Petrópolis, part of the Graduate Programme in Education. Leader of the Study Group on Education, Culture and Contemporary (GRECCA / UCP). Has experience in the areas of Anthropology and Education, with an emphasis on Anthropology of Cinema, Gender Relations, Education and Communication, working mainly on the following themes: cinema and audiovisual, social markers of difference, educational processes and cultural mediation.

Graduated in Pedagogy from the Catholic University of Petrópolis (2002). Professor, appointed Coordinator of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP (2019/2022). Deputy Director of the Centre for Theology and Humanities at UCP (2013-2018) and Coordinator of the Pedagogy Course at UCP (2010-2018). Served as Pedagogical Coordinator of Colégio de Aplicação -UCP- Early Years and Lower Primary Education (2004-2011). Leader of the Study and Research Group on “Childhood, Teaching and Otherness”, IDA/UCP, linked to the Research Line “Educational institutions, public policies, educational practices” of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP. Has experience in the field of Education, working mainly on the following topics: teacher training, popular education, educational assessment, daily life in early childhood education and literacy.

Master’s Degree in Management of Knowledge and Information Technology from the Catholic University of Brasília (2004). Professor of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP. Leader of the Research Group of the La Salle University Centre of Rio de Janeiro – UNILASALE-RJ entitled: “Educational quality indicators and Lasallian education in contemporaneity: from fundamentals to practices”. Researcher in the research group at La Salle University, Canoas – RS, in “Educational practices and educational quality indicators: implementation of the Common National Curriculum Base as a public policy articulated with the ideals of the right to quality education: perspectives and challenges for its implementation in the Municipal Education Network of Nova Santa Rita”. Has been working in education for at least 45 years, and as a manager of Basic and Higher education for at least 40 years.

Lúcia Vaz de Campos Moreira

Adjunct Professor at the Catholic University of Petrópolis, where she works as a Permanent Professor in the Graduate Programmes of Psychology and Education. Leader of the “Family, Human Development and Education” Research Group. Has experience in Psychology, Education, and Interdisciplinary areas, with an emphasis on family and human development, working mainly on the following topics: family, paternity, paternal involvement, maternity, child rearing, family relationships, family-school relationships, early childhood education institution and Developmental Psychology.

Teaching Degree in Pedagogy from Unilasalle-RJ (2010) and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communication / Advertising and Propaganda (2009). Professor of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP. Has experience in the fields of Education and Communication, with an emphasis on public policy, assessment, management, media and education, and discourse analysis. State Councilor for Education in Rio de Janeiro, holds a MEC/FNDE scholarship as an articulator of the collaboration structure in the Programme for the Implementation of the Common National Curriculum Base. Member of the Rio de Janeiro State Education Forum. Editor-in-chief of the Brazilian Journal of Education Policy and Administration (RBPAE/ANPAE). State Director of ANFOPE-RJ. Member of ANPED’s Fiscal Council.

Bachelor ‘s Degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2015). Teaching Degree in Physical Education from the Federal University of Bahia (2006). Permanent Professor of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP. Leader of the Research Group on “Education, State, Civil Society and Political Participation”, linked to the Research Line “Educational institutions, public policies, and educational practices” of the Graduate Programme in Education at UCP. Has professional experience in Basic Education, as well as in Higher Education – on-site and online learning, working in Undergraduate and Graduate courses, specifically in the area of ​​Physical Education, Education, Sociology of Education and training of municipal public managers. Researches Public Policies for Education in Brazil, especially the processes of political participation of the Petropolitan civil society in public education policies.
